Pernille Fischer is the true definition of a successful immigrant entrepreneur. Like many, she fell in love with a Canadian and moved here to Denmark. Her passion, determination and brains have made her not only a success in the international trade industry, but also an author. She just launched her autobiography “Tales from and Immigrant Entrepreneur: One Woman’s Story.”
Since founding Kisserup in 1998, Pernille achieved many accomplishments, including the prestigious Women of Excellence Award from the Canadian Progress Club in recognition of her contribution to communication and public affairs. As well, she has been nominated on several occasions for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Canadian Women’s Entrepreneur Award.
In this interview she talks about her story, her innovative way of meeting people as a newcomer and how she evolved to the successful business woman she is today.
